Saved data stays in this browser on this device. It is not an account backup and does not sync across devices. Clearing browser data or using private browsing can remove it. On a shared device, clear your plan when finished. Copy an export if you want a separate backup.

How to keep your moving plan usable

My Moving Plan gathers sections that you saved in the individual tools. It is a viewer and export point for this browser’s saved data, rather than a cloud account or an editor for every section.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. In each tool, select its Save control after making changes. Returning here alone does not save an unfinished inventory, budget or request.
  2. Open this page in the same browser on the same device and select Open saved plan. Reload first if another open tab has just saved a section.
  3. Review the printable summary and saved company shortlist. To change a section, return to its original tool, restore it where needed, edit it and save again.
  4. Copy the text or JSON into your own file for a separate record. Before using Clear saved plan, retain anything you need and select the confirmation checkbox.

Example: keeping an updated inventory with your request

After adding a sofa, save the inventory again. In the request builder, bring in the saved inventory and check for duplicate rows or text, then save or download the revised request. My Plan shows the saved versions; changing the inventory does not automatically rewrite a previously saved request.

Frequently asked questions

Can I open this plan from another phone or computer?

The saved sections do not sync. A text or JSON export gives you a separate record you can move yourself, but this page currently has no file-import control to restore that export automatically.

Why is one section missing or out of date?

Check that you saved it in its own tool and are using the same browser and device. Reload My Plan if another tab saved a newer version. Unsaved changes do not appear here.

Does Clear saved plan delete a file I already downloaded?

It removes the site’s saved plan data from this browser. It does not delete downloaded files or information you already sent to a company. Keep or delete those copies separately.

How should I use the tools on a shared device?

Avoid saving contact details you do not want other users of that browser to see. Export what you need, clear the saved plan when finished and manage any downloaded files separately.
