A few quick answers
Can I use the planning tools outside Ontario?
Yes. You can build an inventory, prepare a request and compare your own quotes for a move elsewhere. The searchable company directory is currently limited to Ontario.
Will my request be sent to moving companies?
No. Review and copy the text, then send it yourself to the companies you choose.
How do I return to a saved plan?
Save your work using the relevant tool, then open My Moving Plan in the same browser on the same device. Clearing browser data can remove it. Export a copy for a separate record.
Where should I begin if I have no quotes yet?
Identify the service you need, list your inventory and describe access at both addresses. Use the quote request builder to give selected companies the same scope, then check and compare the written offers that come back.
What should I check if an interactive tool is not working?
Enable JavaScript and use a current browser. Saving also requires available browser storage. If a control still fails, use the contact page to report the tool name, the steps you took and your browser and device type. Keep a separate copy of any work you need.
