Start with your area

Prefer device location?

Your browser asks permission. We suggest a nearby covered area; confirm the city below.

You can also skip this step and choose a city manually.

Device coordinates and postal input are processed in this page, are not sent to companies and are not saved in My Plan. Postal matching uses the first 3 characters and approximate area points, not a street address. No map subscription is needed.

Compare the same inventory and written terms. Published services do not guarantee availability, a fixed minimum or suitability for your item. Compare actual quote figures.

Before you book

  • Confirm both addresses, the route and the date directly. An office address is not a live truck location.
  • Ask about crew and vehicle provision, minimum hours, travel, packing, taxes, deposits and cancellation.
  • For a piano or heavy item, send dimensions and access photographs and request an explicit assessment.

Postal suggestions use published area names where available. Device location and other postal suggestions use representative postal points within 30 km. They do not establish municipal boundaries or rank companies by distance. Rural prefixes can be broad; change the suggested city when needed.

How to use the Ontario moving company finder

The finder matches recorded company and branch listings to an area and service. Use the results to build a contact shortlist, then request written offers for the same inventory. It is not a live booking system or a quality ranking.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Choose a city directly, enter a Canadian postal code or its first three characters, or request device location. Check the suggested city and change it when it does not describe your move.
  2. Choose the service and optional packing or storage requirements. A company-name filter can narrow the results further.
  3. Select Find matching companies. Read the source links, service notes and contact details. Use the comparison controls to place up to three listings side by side.
  4. Contact the providers yourself to confirm both addresses, the date, capability and charges. Save companies separately to My Plan when you want a shortlist to revisit; the temporary side-by-side comparison is not the same as saving a plan.

Example: an approximate postal match needs confirmation

A broad postal area may suggest a nearby covered city even when your pickup is outside that municipality. Select the most relevant listed area, then give the company your actual pickup and delivery locations. A result is evidence of recorded service coverage, not a promise to serve a particular street at a stated price.

Frequently asked questions

Does nearest mean the closest truck or office?

No. Suggestions use representative area points and a limited covered-city dataset. They do not track vehicles or sort companies by driving distance.

Must I share device location?

No. You can choose a city manually or use a postal area. Device location is requested only after you choose that option and your browser asks permission.

Why might several listings share a brand or contact?

The directory identifies separate branches and published service areas. Related branches can share a contact number; compare the branch and coverage, not just the brand name.

Does an empty result mean there are no movers in my city?

No. Coverage is limited to the listed Ontario areas and documented service combinations. Review the filters, use the official contact list or search independently when your area is not represented.

Can I compare prices in this finder?

The side-by-side view compares published listing details. Use Compare Moving Quotes after receiving actual offers and clarifying their included services.
